About this game

Gris is a hopeful young girl lost in her own world, dealing with a painful experience in her life. Her journey through sorrow is manifested in her dress, which grants new abilities to better navigate her faded reality. As the story unfolds, Gris will grow emotionally and see her world in a different way, revealing new paths to explore using her new abilities.

GRIS is a serene and evocative experience, free of danger, frustration or death. Players will explore a meticulously designed world brought to life with delicate art, detailed animation, and an elegant original score. Through the game light puzzles, platforming sequences, and optional skill-based challenges will reveal themselves as more of Gris’s world becomes accessible.

GRIS is an experience with almost no text, only simple control reminders illustrated through universal icons. The game can be enjoyed by anyone regardless of their spoken language.

It's a beautiful game and a fine experience. The controls are sometimes a little clunky for touchscreen especially around fiddly puzzle areas but they get the job done. Other than that, it's an amazing experience that is definitely worth your time and attention. Make sure you use headphones as the music really and to the experience. Highly recommended.

A visually stunning game ruined by lousy controls. The developers say this is supposed to be a game free of frustration. Well, sorry to say this was one of the most frustratingly difficult games I've ever tried. Not because it's difficult per se, but because of the unpolished and imprecise controls, lack of direction and poor level design. What makes it worse is that it's unforgiving towards your mistakes, forcing you to slowly retrace your steps if you make just one misstep.

Beautiful game, shame about it crashing. The music, the flow of the game, the artwork is amazing. What isn't great is that there is no in game save button you can press. So if the game glitches, it will take you right back to the start of a sequence. I ended up doing the bird scene 10x before admitting defeat and uninstalling.
